The Mzansi response team responded swiftly to a call for assistance from the community in Umgeni Park shortly followed by our tactical & K9 units. Our team were the first to react to the incident yesterday where several people were shot.
The victims were treated by Netcare911 and Emer-G-med, with aid from our Mzansi team members. The victims were then taken to various hospitals for treatment.
Our thoughts are with the victims that went through this traumatic experience and urge them to use the following numbers should they require further assistance .
